Cyberpunk TCG Welcome to the night city Prerelease Event (In Store Event)
Welcome to Night City, the debut set for the brand-new Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, invites you to assemble the ultimate edgerunner crew with iconic characters including V, Jackie Welles, Johnny Silverhand, and Judy Álvarez, and then pit them against your opponents as you fight to become a Night City legend!
Cyberpunk TCG Pre-Release Events give players an early opportunity to get their hands on cards from the latest set, build decks using Pre-Release Kits, and play in fun, casual-friendly tournaments suitable for players of all skill and experience levels!
These are "Sealed Deck" format events, meaning you don't need to bring any Cyberpunk TCG cards along with you to take part. Just turn up, crack open your Pre-Release Kit, build a deck from the cards inside, and you're ready to play!
Each Welcome to Night City Pre-Release Kit contains:
- 6 x Welcome to Night City Booster Packs
- 3 × Random Legend Cards
- 1 × Gorilla Arms Promo Card
- 1 x Full Cyberpunk TCG Polyhedral Dice Set
Event Structure
- Sealed Deck Format
- 3-Round Swiss Tournament
- 45-minute Deck Building Phase
- Best-of-Three Matches
- 55-minute Rounds
A 45-minute deck building phase will begin shortly after registration has been completed
Matches (Best-of-3)
Each round has a time limit of 55 minutes. Remember that matches are best-of-3, so within a round each pair will play 2-3 games. The first player to win 2 games wins the match.
If players go over the 55 minutes allotted for the round without a winner, the winner of the match is the person who has won the most games at the end of Round End Procedures:
Finish the current turn.
Both players then get one full turn each. They have 5 minutes to complete both of these final turns.
At the end of both final turns, if a player controls 7 or more Gig dice, they win the game. Otherwise, the game is a draw.
The player who has won the most games is the winner of the match. If no players have won more games in the match, the match is a draw.
